A Body in Relay

An interdisciplinary collaboration exploring how movement, live musical decision-making and responsive digital systems can shape one another.

Developed with dancer Yuxi Jiang, the project places the dancer, musician and technological system within an evolving relationship. Movement influences the musical environment, while live interventions alter the rules through which the system responds.

Rather than treating the body as a controller that simply triggers sound, A Body in Relay asks how control might move between performers, technologies and the space around them.
